Bethenny Frankel lead efforts to provide Texas residents with emergency assistance after a deadly winter storm wiped out power to millions of people, which then developed into a water crisis in the state.
The former Real Housewives of New York star shared on Instagram that her BStrong disaster relief foundation was ‘loading trucks of aid to distribute to those ravaged by power outages, sub zero temperatures, lack of and contaminated water, death, and homelessness.’
Her latest call to duty included partnering with the Global Empowerment Mission and NCS Group to not only fill boxes of food for families in need, but to also transport the items from Miami via 500 trucks from Unlimited Carrier.

As many as 4.4million Texans were without power thanks to a botched response from ERCOT — the state’s private energy distributor — to a winter storm.
At least 10 people have died as temperatures dropped as low as -2 Fahrenheit, which enacted a state of emergency on Tuesday across all 254 counties in Texas as snow and ice blanket the state.
The massive delivery is set to include 42 pallets of 26,000 hand sanitizers per pallet, which totals over 1 million bottles of hand sanitizer.

‘The transport mission is also inclusive of “BStrong family kits” filled with food necessities for the U.S. COVID-19 crisis, totaling over 1,000 family boxes for each truckload to serve roughly 5,000 people per truck,’ a release from the NCS Group revealed
Bethenny’s BStrong partner, Michael Capponi, and NCS CEO Ignas Jurkonis were on hand to load trucks with needed supplies.
‘The transport mission is also inclusive of “BStrong family kits” filled with food necessities for the U.S. COVID-19 crisis, totaling over 1,000 family boxes for each truckload to serve roughly 5,000 people per truck,’ a release from the NCS Group revealed.
Each kit provides help for a family of five and includes: ’20 lb bags of rice, an assortment of 1-2, 2 lbs bags of beans (black, kidney, white), 1-2 lbs bag of oats, an assortment of protein bars, Immuse Immune Boosters, hydration kits, hygiene supplies (dry shampoo, pack of bars of soap, etc.), five toothbrushes and toothpaste, five masks, gloves and a large hand sanitizer.’
For a family of two, the kit includes: ’10 lbs bag of rice, 1 lbs bag of beans (black, kidney, white), 1 lbs bag of oats, an assortment of protein bars, Immuse Immune Boosters, hydration kits , hygiene supplies (dry shampoo, pack of bars of soap, etc.), two toothbrushes + Toothpaste, two masks, gloves and eight ounce hand sanitizers.

It’s not the first time Bethenny’s ventured into humanitarian mode as she launched her initiative in 2017 and has since provided emergency aid across the globe.
Bethenny added in her post that BStrong and Global Empowerment Mission have ‘distributed more than $80 million in crisis relief and PPE worldwide, in 3 years.

She famously visited Puerto Rico in 2018 with Dorinda Medley on an episode of RHONY and distributed nearly $60,000 in credit cards to residents displaced by Hurricane Maria, only after sending four planes filled with emergency aid totaling $1million in support for the American territory
