MasterChef SPOILER: Major twist reveals the VERY unlikely rumoured winner as filming wraps in Melbourne

Reynold Poernomo is no longer the frontrunner to win MasterChef: Back To Win.

After filming wrapped on the Channel 10 show in Melbourne last week, all major bookmakers are suggesting that Emelia Jackson is set to come out on top.

Her odds have been slashed so low that the outcome almost seems guranteed.

Can she do it? Emelia Jackson (pictured) is the new frontrunner to win MasterChef across all bookmakers. Reynold Poernomo was initially tipped to win before filming ended last week

As of Tuesday, SportsBet have dropped Emelia’s odds to as little as 1.15.

The bookmakers have Jess Liemantara in second place at 4.50, Laura Sharrad in third at 5.50 followed by Reynold at 7.50 and Poh Ling Yeow at 14.00.

Interestingly, before filming wrapped, the website had Reynold to win at 1.50, followed by Laura at 3.50 and Poh Ling Yeow in third place at 7.00.

Surprise! As of Tuesday, SportsBet have dropped Emelia's odds to as little as 1.15 and seem certain of the outcome. Up until recently, Reynold had odds of 1.50 to win but is now at 7.50

Is this proof she wins? Similarly, TAB now have Emelia at even lower odds of just 1.02. Just a short while ago before filming wrapped in Melbourne, she wasn't even in the top five

They have Reynold and Laura in joint second place with odds of 7.00, followed by Poh and Jess, who both have odds of 11.00.

Recent social media posts all but confirm Emelia, Reynold, Laura and Poh all make the grand finals of the Channel 10 cooking competition.

Up until last week, they were each sharing pictures in Melbourne where the show is filmed. They’re now posting pictures back home as filming has wrapped.

It is currently unknown if a winner has been officially declared yet, despite filming wrapping in Melbourne last week after a five month shoot.

In previous seasons, MasterChef has filmed multiple endings where they crown different contestants the winner to prevent spoilers leaking.

They then recreate the final moment closer to when it airs on television and film the actual ending, where they crown the legitimate winner.

Former judge Matt Preston told Mix 102.3’s Jodie & Soda in 2017: ‘We re-create the final reveal of the scores, complete with the same scorecards, so they actually stand there with their loved ones and get to watch the real thing unfold.’
