Emma Corrin shares a clip of The Crown cast singing her happy birthday

Emma Corrin celebrated turning 25 with a rousing rendition of happy birthday from her fellow actors on series four of The Crown.

To mark the event, Corrin, who won viewers’ hearts as Lady Diana in series four of The Crown, shared a video on Instagram of the Netflix’s hit series’ cast singing to her while on set in full costume.

In the clip, Olivia Colman leads the sing-along, and ends the video by cheekily giving the camera the finger as it swoops in her direction.

Corrin, who also shared a snap of herself enjoying some birthday cake, said she would watch the video every year from now on to mark her big day.

In the clip, fans of The Crown will recognise Tom O’Connor as Prince Charles, Erin Doherty as Princess Anne and Colman as the Queen singing the Happy Birthday Song heartily.

They are joined by the rest of The Crown’s cast, including Helena Bonham-Carter’s Princess Margaret and Tobias Menzies, who plays the Duke of Edinburgh in series three and four, in singing around the table which is used to film the royal family’s dinner in the show.

The camera circles around the table while the ensemble cast sings, and ends on Colman, who gives the camera the finger while members of the cast laugh.

The cast then applauds and the video ends with Colman once again pointing both her middle fingers in the air.

‘I plan to watch this for every birthday I have from now on,’ Emma wrote on her Instagram story.

The clip is one of the latest behind-the-scenes videos shared by Corrin, who has released candid snaps of what went on behind the camera during the filming of the show’s fourth series.

In pictures she shared on November 29 on Instagram, the actress, who plays a younf Lady Diana, was shown comparing her royal hairdo to George Michale’s mane during his Wham years in the 1980s.

The rising star was seen in jovial clips as she larked around with co-star and on-screen husband Josh O’Connor, has a wedding dress fitting and knits in a quiet moment between takes.

Emma was also seen fooling around on her roller-skates which she rode around the palace on in scenes from the show.

Emma filmed Josh, 30, as he played with a hot wire toy, and secretly recorded him being talked through the Destiny’s Child song Bootylicious.

A new report has claimed that 29 million people logged onto the streaming service to watch the latest series of the drama in its first week of release mid-November.

While official figures are yet to be released by Netflix, that reported figure would mean more people watched the dramatised version of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s courtship than the couple’s real life wedding in 1981.

Netflix does not officially publicise figures until a month after a show first comes out with official figures for series three showing that 21 million watched in its opening week.
