Ant McPartlin was treated to a low-key birthday bash following Wednesday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.
The TV icon was treated by both his co-host Declan Donnelly and the ITV crew as he rang in his 45th birthday while away from his nearest and dearest in Wales.
Perhaps the most unusual of his gifts was balloon models showing his and Dec’s likess, as well as birthday banners and a rather frustrating gift from his best pal.

Ant and Dec are currently residing in Wales while the show takes place, having been in isolation prior to the show to permit filming in line with COVID regulations.
No doubt sad to be away from his girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett, Dec ensured the birthday was still special as he was seen arriving backstage after the show.
Balloons littered the area with caravans and tour buses for the cast and crew, with a banner of balloons spelling out ‘Happy Birthday Ant’.
He was then met with balloons styled into him and Dec’s image – with surprising accuracy – as the duo held them up to their face and uttered their catchphrase: ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’, with a prolonged last word.

Sweet! He gave Dec a warm hug after getting the pen
Dec then handed his gift over which was a large box wrapped in bright paper.
All was not as it seemed however, as once he opened the box another was inside, and then another and another until he reached a small package.
Inside was what appeared to be an innocuous pen, however superfans will recall that last month, the duo had their minds blown by a pen that ‘does everything’, as they prepared for the show’s launch
In a video, Dec delightedly said: ‘Amazing pen. A pen, and a ruler, and a spirit level. ‘Sorry I’m going to have to take a minute, that’s just blown my mind.’

The birthday celebrations came after the presenting duo accidentally gave fans a glimpse of their new filming schedule after relocating to Wales.
The presenting duo took to Instagram Stories to share a video of them enjoying their dinner after recording the live show, with their itinerary in full display on the wall.
The pair’s schedule includes arriving on set at 5:15pm for meetings, with the filming for the trial schedule to begin at 11:15pm and finish in the early hours at 12:45am.

On Monday night Ant shared a video of his takeaway dinner of cauliflower wings and chips as he and Dec took a break before filming the trial.
While the pair joked about Ant’s dinner, a whiteboard featuring the show’s schedule could be glimpsed, showing the pair’s order of business during filming each night.
After arriving to record the voiceover at 5:15pm they go through several hours of meetings to finalise the script, before heading to makeup and wardrobe.
The duo then head outside for 8pm to record their opening links, before heading to the studio for a quick rehearsal at 8:30pm.

Ant and Dec are then ready to film the live show, which beings at 9pm most evenings, before heading back to set at 10:15pm for a 30 minute break.
It’s only then that they begin preparations to film the trial, with the cameras set to roll at 11:15pm.
The schedule then states Ant and Dec can wrap filming at 12:45pm, before no doubt heading back to their hotel for a good night’s rest.
It’s a far less gruelling schedule then from their days filming the show in Australia, which due to the 11 hour time difference meant preparations had to start at 2:30am, before wrapping at 12:45pm, according to the pair’s book Once Upon A Tyne.
