Singer Cody Simpson reflects on 10 years of success after the release of his second EP in 2011
Singer-turned-Olympic hopeful Cody Simpson has reflected on the decade since his second EP was released, and also teased new music.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the 24-year-old shared the cover of his 2011 EP Coast to Coast, which showed the fresh-faced pop star posing at the beach.
‘Thank you to all of you for being with me. I love you and owe you everything. The next one is loading,’ he wrote in the caption.

The singer’s fans were quick to comment, with his own sister Ali Simpson, writing: ‘So many bangers.’
The EP was a moderate commercial success, reaching number 16 on the Australian album charts.
It reached number 16 on the U.S. Billboard chart.

Cody, who previously dated Miley Cyrus, recently returned to his native Australia after spending years in Los Angeles.
Despite training for the Paris Olympics, the musician and athlete has told fans he plans to work on new music.
The Gold Coast native wrote on Instagram in July: ‘In the midst of my swim training regimen, playing music is still a massive part of my life.’

‘And I definitely don’t stop thinking about those who listen to me,’ he continued.

Cody, who is dating Belgian model Marloes Stevens, last released new music in 2019.

It came four months after ending his year-long relationship with American pop star Miley, who was previously married to Liam Hemsworth.
The Pretty Brown Eyes hitmaker has dated several famous women besides Miley in the past, including model Gigi Hadid from 2013 to 2015.
