Cricketer Ellyse Perry sparks romance rumours with AFL star Nat Fyfe

She split from her Australian Wallabies rugby union star husband Matt Toomua at the start of the year.

But on Saturday, Ellyse Perry sparked romance rumours with another athlete in the form of AFL player Nat Fyfe, 29.

According to The Herald Sun, Ellyse, 30, was spotted in the Fremantle Dockers rooms after Nat’s 200th game on Saturday in Tasmania. 

She was said to be all smiles as she joined his family and friends – including his parents, David and Christine – after the Dockers’ win over Hawthorn. 

Adding more fuel to the fire, Nat, who is believed to be single, only follows 97 people on his Instagram page.

Ellyse herself is one of them, being the only female that isn’t a family member to have made the cut.

However, sources close to Ellyse did confirm to the Herald Sun that she and Nat have been good friends for a while.

Daily Mail Australia have contacted Ellyse and Nat for further comment.

The pair have been linked before, after Nat was asked: ‘Other than your partner who would you take to the Brownlow?’ in 2020.

‘Ellyse Perry, can I say that?’ he responded.

Meanwhile, Ellyse and Matt confirmed their split in July after almost five years of marriage.

‘It’s with the greatest of respect for one another that we decided to separate earlier this year,’ the pair said in a joint statement.

‘We felt this was the right course of action and is in the best interests of each other and our current lives. This is something that has evolved and is a mutual decision.’

‘Throughout our relationship we have remained private and we ask that our space and privacy continue to be respected during this difficult time for both of us.’

Matt, 31, has since moved on to start a new relationship with Canberra psychologist Naomi Cameron, 29.
