Chrissy Teigen has been keeping in touch with pal Kim Kardashian amid her ongoing divorce from estranged husband Kanye West.
And the model and social media sensation, 35, shed light on the shocking split during a remote Watch What Happens Live appearance on Tuesday evening.
Speaking to host Andy Cohen, Chrissy divulged: ‘Kim is doing okay. I know Kim gave her all for everything. It’s honestly a shame that it didn’t work out because I saw them being a forever relationship. I really did, but I know she tried her best.’

The KUWTK star, 40, famously filed for divorce from the rapper, 43, on February 19 following a six-year-plus marriage, asking for joint custody of the kids. Earlier this month, Kanye finally responded to her petition.
During her Watch What Happens Live appearance, a fan asked Chrissy about the status of John’s long-time friendship with West.
And although she did not give a direct answer, the Cravings CEO seemingly suggested that John and Kanye have fallen out of touch in recent months.

She said: ‘I will say I have definitely been in touch with Kim more than John has been in touch with Kanye. If anyone knows Kanye, it’s that he goes off the grid and it’s hard to ever contact him.’
Chrissy’s comments come amid reports that Kim is being inundated with dating offers from potential future suitors, despite the fact she is ‘not looking for anyone right now.’
It has also been reported that the SKIMS founder and Kanye have managed to keep ‘things calm’ during the ongoing divorce.

A source told Page Six: ‘People are reaching out through mutual friends and people that she’s worked with to set her up with everyone from royal family members to A-list actors to athletes to billionaire CEOs. People are also trying to reach out to her via DM.’
Although the source added that Kim is ‘not looking for anyone right now’, they continued: ‘She’s not looking to jump into anything but is keeping an open mind.’
It comes after it was recently reported that Kanye is looking to date an ‘artist and creative person’ once their divorce is made final.
Elsewhere it has also been claimed that Kim and Kanye have managed to keep ‘things calm’ during their ongoing divorce.

The duo are said to be ‘getting along’ during proceedings with the SKIMS founder reportedly ‘happier week-by-week’ since their split.
A source told People: ‘Kim and Kanye are getting along. They have both stayed true to their commitment to make the best situation for the kids.
‘Kim is very happy that they have managed to keep things calm. She thinks Kanye is a good dad. She wants him to be able to spend as much time with the kids as he wants.’
The source added that Kim appears ‘happier’ since filing for divorce and that it was the ‘right decision’.

They said: ‘For every week that goes by since she filed for divorce, Kim seems happier. She knows that filing for divorce was the right decision. The kids are doing as good as she could hope.’
MailOnline has contacted both Kim and Kanye’s representatives for comment.
It comes after it was claimed that Kanye is ‘super annoyed’ that their split story is ‘constantly presented as her divorcing him’.
A source told Page Six: ‘Actually it was him saying for a year that they have nothing in common except the kids and he wanted out. She pulled all the stops to try to save the marriage.’

The source went on to claim that Kanye let Kim ‘file first in order to give her dignity.’
The new reports come just one week after the rapper finally responded to his estranged wife’s February 19th divorce petition, asking for joint custody of their four children.
The rapper/fashion designer’s filings are practically the same as his reality star ex’s, according to TMZ, with Kanye asking for joint legal and physical custody of North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, almost two.

Joint custody would not necessarily mean a 50/50 arrangement, with Kim, likely to be their primary caretaker.
Going forward, the couple will almost certainly work out an arrangement to be approved by the court. As previously reported, the pair are committed to co-parenting.
Neither Kanye or Kim – both Forbes billionaires – will seek spousal support. Both have agreed to pay for their own legal fees.
A prenup is already in place, likely providing a strong framework for how the pair will divide their assets.

Interestingly, neither party indicated a date of separation in their filed paperwork.
Kim has hired top Hollywood divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, reportedly the inspiration for Laura Dern’s Oscar-winning role in Marriage Story.
The attorney also represented her when ending her second marriage to husband Kris Humphries, which lasted only 72 days. Prior to that the star was wed to producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004.
According to TMZ, Kim may get to hold on to the family’s Hidden Hills home so as not to uproot the children.

Kim officially filed for divorce back on February 19th, with sources saying it had been months since she and Kanye last spoke.
‘It’s gotten to the point where they haven’t spent time together as a married couple in months,’ a source told E! News in January, before things were made official.
‘They’ve seen each other for the sake of the kids but have been living separately. Kim knows the marriage is over. She’s known for a while.’
