‘I want to go home’: Rebecca Zemek LEAVES Married At First Sight and confesses she might not come back after she discovers her beloved dog Oscar is sick

Rebecca Zemek fled Married At First Sight on Tuesday, after receiving an upsetting phone call about the health of her beloved dog, Oscar.

Talking to her ‘husband’, Jake Edwards, a distraught Beck told him they were ‘moving him into a medical hospital’. 

‘I got a call last night about Oscar and he hadn’t been himself all day,’ the 27-year-old said between tears.

Beck told Jake, 32, she needed to leave the show to be with Oscar, and confessed she wasn’t sure if she’d return.

‘He’s literally my only responsibility in my whole life… I want to go home and just see Oscar,’ she admitted.

A sympathetic Jake agreed that Beck should return home, and said he was ‘trying to be there for her as best as I can’.

But he confessed that her departure was ‘not good timing for our relationship and where we are in the experiment’.  

‘We’re not in a good place… I want to get to the final vows that need to be answered, and I just need some clarity of where she’s at and where her head is at,’ he said.

He added: ‘So, I don’t know where I stand. It sucks.’

As she waved goodbye to Jake, a smirking Beck later told the show’s producers that there was a chance she wouldn’t be coming back.   

‘My priorities do lie with Oscar at the moment. I may not return to the experiment,’ she confessed.

Many viewers were sceptical about Beck’s decision to return home, and voiced their opinions on Twitter.

‘Beck’s dog is sick?? Now I’ve heard it all,’ tweeted one viewer, while another wrote, ‘Holy to be wrong but I call bulls**t on Beck’.

‘I don’t know how to explain this, but Bec [sic] pulling the “Dog’s Dead, I have to go” phone call exit is absolutely on brand for her,’ added another.
