Ryan Giggs and his ex Kate Greville are ‘arguing over who gets to keep their two dogs’

‘Neither side wants to give in’: Ryan Giggs and his ex-girlfriend Kate Greville are ‘arguing over who gets to keep their dogs’ following split

Ryan Giggs and his ex-girlfriend Kate Greville are reportedly arguing over who gets to keep their dogs.

Their relationship ended after the former Manchester United player, 47, who denies the allegations, was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and assault of the PR worker, 36, in November.

A source has now told The Sun that the former couple had two dogs together – Mac and Atlas – with neither side wanting to ‘give in’ over who keeps the pooches.

They said: ‘Ryan and Kate got lots of joy from Mac and got another dog so he had a play companion.

‘But do they keep the dogs together or do they split them up and both take one?

‘They both want the dogs and neither side wants to give in.’

MailOnline has contacted Ryan Giggs’ representative for further comment.

The update comes after Wales manager Giggs had his bail extended last month.

In a statement a Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: ‘A 46-year-old man (now aged 47) arrested on suspicion of section 39 common assault and section 47 assault in November 2020 has had his bail extended until Saturday May 1.

‘This relates to an incident reported to police at 10.05pm on Sunday November 1 2020, on Chatsworth Road, Worsley. A file remains with the CPS and a decision is expected in due course.’

Police were seen parked outside Giggs’ home in Worsley, Greater Manchester, in November following reports of the disturbance involving Ms Greville.

A statement released on behalf of Giggs at the time said: ‘Mr Giggs denies all allegations of assault made against him. He is co-operating with the police and will continue to assist them with their ongoing investigations.’

While it was reported earlier this month that he will be absent from the touchline for Wales’ next three matches after it was ‘mutually agreed’ he would not be involved in this month’s World Cup qualifiers

Giggs took charge of Wales in 2018 and led his country to qualification for Euro 2020, which was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic and is now due to take place this summer.
