Guy Sebastian has launched his own record label, with Sony Music.

On Saturday, the 39-year-old told The Courier Mail that he hopes the as yet unnamed label will be a vehicle for discovering new Australian talent.

‘I feel immensely grateful that we are now able to establish my own label as I feel it is so important at this stage of my career to nurture and develop other creatives,’ he told the paper.

Three of the original judges were dropped with UK pop star Rita Ora, 30, flying into Australia recently to join the panel.

Rita will join an all-star panel of Australian singers, including Keith Urban, 53, Jessica Mauboy, 31, and last year’s mentor, Guy.

While Guy survived the chop when the reality program announced its move from Channel Nine to Channel Seven this year, the rest are out.

Former mentors Kelly Rowland, 40, Boy George, 59, and Delta Goodrem, 36, will not return.

Australian Idol alum Guy, the only judge from last year’s crop to survive the network move, said he was excited to work with the new panel.

‘I really feel like this panel will genuinely nurture a new generation of artists,’ he insisted.

The Voice will commence on Channel 7 later this year.
