Clearwater Police also confirmed they have identified the person who opened the car door and his arrest is pending.

The handcuffed fleer is not the only unruly spring breaker in Florida.

Last weekend Miami Beach Police arrested more than 100 people for crimes including a ‘bottle-throwing attack on our police’.

The large numbers of tourists and big crowds on the beach have raised concerns about the spread of COVID.

The state’s leading industry, tourism in Florida took a hit last spring break due to COVID restrictions.

On Wednesday, the Florida Department of Health reported 6,004 new cases of COVID, the highest in 2 weeks.

Clearwater Beach, the site of the handcuffed getaway, is a favorite location for spring breakers across the country.

The TikTok recorded what appears to be a violation of Clearwater Beach COVID safety guidelines- which ask that beachgoers abide by the CDC recommended six feet of distance or more between beach attendees and those who are not in their family or group, as well as the Beachgoers should avoid congregating in groups larger than 10 people.
