Katie Price gets into passenger side of waiting car after being caught driving while banned

Having been seen driving around earlier this week despite being disqualified from the roads, Katie Price was sure to play by the rules on Thursday.

The model was seen leaving home and getting into an awaiting car, this time into the passenger side.

The appearance comes a day after The Sun claimed the mum-of-five, 42, was spotted behind the wheel of a Range Rover despite serving her current sixth driving ban, which is nearing its completion date. This is the second time she has been caught driving while banned – the first time being January 2019.

Sticking to the rules: Having been seen driving around earlier this week despite being disqualified from the roads, Katie Price was sure to play by the rules on Thursday

Katie’s current two-year ban was issued in the autumn of 2019, which she appealed. It was reduced to 18 months.

This happened in October of that year, meaning her ban will lift in a matter of weeks, if not days.

Climbing into the passenger side of a white BMW on Thursday, Katie brandished a Canon camera, documenting her journey from the front door to the vehicle, before being ferried off.

She wore an all-blue ensemble, a variation of baby and sky blue hues. The winter look featured a gillet over a wool cardigan, a dark top beneath.

She added leggings to the look and Nike trainers.

Katie’s make-up was typically glam, showing off her red manicure. She wore her dark blonde locks in sleek lines around her features.

It’s presumed Katie is documenting her day for a TV project, her YouTube channel or some form of social media upload.

The day before, Katie was seen driving her 32-year-old boyfriend Carl Woods’ Land Rover on a public road in Hertfordshire.

An eyewitness said: ‘They were heading in the direction of the M11. Katie looked anxious. She seemed to be biting her nails. How can she be so stupid when she’s only got a few weeks of the ban left to go?’

MailIOnline has approached reps for comment.

The ban was issued to Katie after her famous pink Range Rover was involved in a crash in November 2018, after which Katie refused to tell police who had actually been behind the wheel.

Driving while disqualified can lead to an unlimited fine and jail time of six months.

Katie was first slapped with a driving ban in 2010 for six months. This was for speeding – 83mph in a 70mph zone in West Sussex.

She was then disqualified for a year in 2012, after failing to respond to two speeding tickets.

In 2018, she was banned for another six months, totting up 12 penalty points on her driver’s license.

During this ban, she was caught driving while disqualified in January 2019, and was given another three months.

A further three months were added to this bane a month after this, when she was convicted with of drink-driving the previous October.
