David Beckham sports a bucket hat as he waves his beer in throwback clip

David Beckham couldn’t help but let his hair down in a hilarious throwback clip where he was sporting a bucket hat and waving a pint of beer around.

In the clip shared by his eldest son Brooklyn, 22, David belted out the Stone Roses’ Made Of Stone, while attending one of their gigs with his young son Cruz, now 16.

Fans joked about David’s ‘Manchester roots’ as he sang the song from one of the city’s most iconic bands, after rising to fame as a United midfielder. 

London native David, who played for the club between 1992 and 2003, clearly embraced Manchester’s culture during his time in the city in the nineties.

David was sporting an Adidas originals black jacket with a white T-shirt underneath, while covering his blonde locks with a black bucket hat.

The former footballer was joined by his youngest son Cruz, who was adorably mimicking his father in a brown Adidas jacket and a red Louis Vuitton print hat.

During one sweet moment in the clip, David leant down to plant a kiss on his son’s face as they enjoyed the concert together. 

Brooklyn shared the old video on his Instagram page on Monday night and wrote alongside the clip: ‘What a throwback. Love you dad.’

David’s wife Victoria, 46, was clearly a big fan of his vintage look, as she commented underneath: ‘Love dad in a bucket hat! X’

Fans also went wild for the moment, as one person wrote: ‘When you thought Becks couldn’t get any cooler.’ 

Others commented on his links to Manchester, as one said: ‘When Beckham was a Manc [heart emojis] [fire emojis].’

While another said: ‘You can take the boy out of Manchester, but you can’t take Manchester out of the boy.’

David and Victoria also share son Romeo, 18, and daughter Harper, nine.
