And Ashley Tisdale posted a heartwarming Instagram mirror selfie over the weekend that showed her cradling her burgeoning bump.

The 35-year-old High School Musical actress is expecting by her husband Christopher French whom she married in 2014.

‘She’s already a light in my life,’ Ashley gushed in her Instagram caption for her more than 13 million followers on the platform. 

Her latest Instagram update comes shortly after she revealed that she has been suffering from plantar fasciitis on account of her pregnancy.

The medical condition has the nickname ‘policeman’s heel’ and involves pain caused by inflamed tissue between the toes and heel.

Ashley wrote on her Insta Stories recently: ‘The worst part so far during this pregnancy is my plantar fasciitis.’

She shared: ‘It literally hurts to walk on my feet. I’ve never felt pain like this and I’m hoping once the baby is here it lets up.’

The Scary Movie 5 actress allowed: ‘I know there could be worse things but for someone who is constantly on their feet it can be pretty unbearable.’ 

‘I was obviously excited because I definitely wanted a girl, for sure. But I am also someone who goes with the flow on a lot of stuff,’ she told People in December.

‘I try to not have expectations in moments like that and just allow what is meant to be. I was very excited,’ said the former Disney Channel star.  

However Ashley, who married Christopher in Santa Barbara, joked: ‘I think my husband definitely was scared – he looked a little scared in the pictures!’

The Fabulous singer dished: ‘I would say that I try to be eating the healthiest when I can, but there’s gonna be moments where I obviously crave stuff that’s not always the healthiest meal, but I’m allowing myself to be okay.’
