Jessica Simpson says she felt ‘giddy’ putting jeans on for the ‘first time in months’ after ‘living in tie-dye sweats’ amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic

Jessica Simpson admitted she is ready to return to regularly wearing jeans after nearly a year of ‘living in tie-dye sweats’ amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

While modeling her clothing line’s spring 2021 collection for her 5.6 million Instagram followers on Thursday, the 40-year-old singer decided to shoot a campaign in the backyard of her $11.5 million Los Angeles mansion.

‘I was very giddy to put on jeans for the first time in months,’ she captioned a stunning shot of herself in a speckled $89.50 denim jacket and matching $59.50 flared bottoms on Thursday.

Simpson continued: ‘My friends and family all joke about how being a homebody at heart has been rewarding for me during the pandemic because I haven’t had to leave my Prairie tale of a home.’

After beginning her transition back to work, she pointed out it was nice that her loved ones were only a ‘holler away’ during the photo shoot.

Her vintage-inspired pieces were styled with a pair of gold hoop earrings and a wide-brimmed black hat over her loose blonde curls.
