Inside Terri’s trolley: Irwin matriarch, 56, stocks up on hot charcoal chicken and washing detergent at Woolies – as daughter Bindi prepares to give birth
Terri Irwin is counting down the days until she becomes a grandmother for the first time.
And the Australia Zoo matriarch, 56, was spotted stocking up on groceries last month while preparing to welcome the family’s latest addition.
Terri, whose daughter Bindi and son-in-law Chandler Powell are expecting a baby girl in late March, went shopping at her local Woolworths on the Sunshine Coast.

The wildlife conservationist briskly packed the items into the boot of her car.
Terri’s trolley included a hot charcoal chicken and Omo washing powder, as well as a number of pantry staples.
She dressed casually for the shopping trip in a white T-shirt with an animal graphic.

She paired the T-shirt with beige pants and pair of hiking boots.
Terri opted to wear minimal makeup and styled her long, wavy hair loosely over her shoulders.
Her daughter Bindi is just weeks away from welcoming her first child with her husband Chandler – who, like Terri, is American.

Bindi, 22, paid tribute to her mother on Tuesday in a sweet tribute on Instagram.
She posted a photo of the pair from their recent hiking trip to Tasmania, and captioned it: ‘I love my mama’s sweater because she is the gift.’
Several days earlier, she had shared a similar gratitude post about Chandler.

She posted a selfie on Instagram of the pair looking loved-up as she gushed about her ‘extraordinary’ life partner.
‘Every day I’m thankful for this extraordinary man that I get to call my husband. I love you with all my heart. You’re the light of my life,’ she wrote.
In an interview with Channel Seven’s Sunrise last month, Terri mentioned that Bindi was due to give birth in March.

Bindi and Chandler announced their baby news in August, and revealed the following month they were expecting a daughter.
The young couple were married on March 25 in a makeshift ceremony at Australia Zoo, just before the Covid-19 lockdown took effect.
They first met in November 2013 when Chandler, who hails from Florida, was touring Australia for a wakeboarding competition.
