Teresa Giudice has been at the center of plenty of Real Housewives Of New Jersey drama this season, notably bucking heads with Jackie Goldschneider after asking the other women if her husband ‘screws around’ with other women at the gym.
And writer/reality star Goldschneider, 44, is dealing with the fallout from Giudice’s unfounded accusations, admitting there has been ‘terrible tension’ between her and husband Evan since Teresa’s pot-stirring comments during Wednesday night’s episode of RHONJ.
‘I’m trying to put on a happy face to shield the kids from the terrible tension between me and Evan,’ she said. ‘I feel so guilty that someone I brought into our lives would try to destroy his name.’
But Giudice didn’t seem to be fretting about the feud, taking to Instagram to share several smiley selfies with her new boyfriend Louie A. Ruelas and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, 41, during a cast trip to Lake George which Jackie chose to skip.

Teresa casually dropped the cheating gossip during Evan’s own birthday party.
Jackie confronted her but the mother-of-four wouldn’t reveal who the rumor originally came from.
Trying to turn the tables to point out how absurd the baseless claims were, Goldschneider remarked that she ‘heard that Gia snorts coke in the bathroom at parties.’
‘How is that not the same thing?’ she wondered.
Then, a furious Giudice stormed out of the affair cursing.
The prickly situation was enough to make Jackie skip out on a group trip to Lake George.
‘Evan is still so angry,’ Jackie said in a confessional.
‘I haven’t taken an easy breath since I found out. It just sucks that Evan and I did nothing wrong at all. Teresa gets to cause all this trouble and then I am left picking up the pieces, while she goes on vacation with all my friends.’

While not happy to have been wrapped up into the drama, Giudice’s daughter Gia, 20, actually advised her mom to say sorry to Jackie.
Gia tried to reason with her mom over the phone during the episode, exhe said something about me, she’s upset because you said something about her marriage.’
‘And not for nothing, if you went about it in a s***y way that upset her, then you should apologize.’
She reminded her mom of how upset she was when Jackie repeated allegations her ex-husband Joe Giudice had cheated.
‘I’m sure you weren’t happy when cheating rumors were going on about you and dad,’ Gia said. ‘If you upset her, say sorry.’
While Teresa was proud of how ‘mature’ her daughter’s response was, she doubled down on her defense during a dinner with the rest of the girls during their trip.
‘I’m glad Jackie didn’t come. I don’t think it would have been good,’ Teresa said, prompting Jennifer Aydin to ask: ‘Wait, are we back on this subject?’
‘I don’t think I did anything wrong,’ Teresa said. ‘I really don’t. So tell her to shut the f*** up and stop crying like a baby.’
‘Obviously there’s a skeleton in the closet, because for her to be this f***ing heartbroken means something’s going on,’ she continued.

While the drama seemed ripe, some sources have said that Teresa is only pushing buttons in desperate bid to stay relevant on RHONJ.
‘She’s being watched by the network and needed a story to stir the pot. She had zero proof [that he cheated] and made up the story because Bravo has been getting rid of original ”Housewives”,’ a source told Page Six.
The source added that Teresa was scared that she could be axed.
‘[She’s] too expensive and they can filter through different women. She’s desperately trying to stay relevant,’ the insider added.
Teresa has been on RHONJ since it premiered in May 2009 on Bravo.
Her lawyer, James J. Leonard Jr., commented on the ‘ridiculous’ allegation to Page Six.
‘The core principle of reality television is authenticity, and I don’t believe there has ever been a more authentic ‘Housewife’ than Teresa Giudice, and there never will be,’ said James, who was a regular fixture on the show while Teresa and her ex-husband Joe Giudice went through their financial fraud case.
‘She is without peer in what she and her family have shared with the cameras over the years. When you are as real and authentic as Teresa has been, you don’t need to pull stunts or manufacture story to be relevant and that is ridiculous for anyone to suggest otherwise,’ James added.
