Real Housewives of Melbourne star Jackie Gillies is known for her luscious brunette tresses.

But on Thursday, the 40-year-old reality star ditched her caramel-hued locks for a fresh new look.

Taking to Instagram to celebrate her stunning transformation, Jackie looked unrecognisable as she unveiled a softer, blonder look.

Jackie looks worlds away from her days as a housewife on the reality series as she showed off her new look.

In the footage, Jackie is seen looking into the camera as her hair stylist pushes her hair into position and she works all her best angles. 

‘With the one and only number one colourist in Australia…. living for my fresh colour! Love ya,’ she wrote.

Her stunning transformation comes just weeks after she announced that she is quitting the Real Housewives franchise.

Jackie revealed she is taking the time off to focus on starting a family with her musician husband Ben.

The reality TV star told Stellar that she was confident in her decision to put a pause on the show, and to grow their family in their hometown of Newcastle in NSW.

She revealed to the publication that she is on her fourth round of IVF and that she kept her treatments under wraps because she felt she’d be judged. 

‘Keeping it hidden meant I also wasn’t being honest to who I am. And since I’ve started telling people, everyone has been so supportive,’ the ever-positive personality said. 

‘Do I know I’m definitely going to have children? From the depths of my heart, yes. But what I haven’t been prepared for is the way it was going to come.’
