Robert and Terri Irwin invite mother-of-two to Australia Zoo after she promised to take her children but was unable to due to financial difficulties
Robert and his mother Terri Irwin have surprised a mother-of-two by inviting her and her family to visit Australia Zoo.
Queensland mum Angela Reilly won Sunrise’s $110,000 Cash Cow prize on Thursday and said she’d be spending the money on taking her kids to the wildlife park.
She explained it had been a ‘promise’ to her children Frankie, 10, and Phoenix, 14, but she had been unable to due to financial difficulties.

On Friday, Robert and Terri surprised Angela by sending her a private video message and inviting her to visit the zoo.
‘G’day Angela, Frankie and Phoenix – it’s Terri and Robert Irwin here and we wanted to say congratulations and well done winning the Cash Cow,’ Robert said.
‘We’re so happy that you want to come here to celebrate.’

Terri added: ‘That’s awesome and by the way we do have a crocodile named Frankie that’s really cute and small.’
She then joked that she ‘expects’ the family to ‘arrive to the zoo either in a limousine or a helicopter.’
‘You won $110,000 or something like that. First of all congratulations and second we do expect you to arrive in a limousine or a helicopter.’

‘We’re really excited to invite you in and we hope you have a wonderful day or two or ten at Australia Zoo,’ she added.
Angela broke down in tears as she thanked the Irwin family for inviting her and her family.
‘Thank you so much! I’ve already been so fortunate, you didn’t have to do that.’
