And ahead of the two-part special airing on Nine on Sunday, Martha Kalifatidis has finally cleared up a common misconception about herself.
The 32-year-old revealed the proper pronunciation of her Greek surname during an interview on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Friday.

‘It does sound a bit disease-y,’ she told radio hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, who both struggled to say her last name.
‘It’s Kal-if-ah-tee-diz in Greek and then, you know, we just say Kalluf-uh-tee-dus [in Australia].’
Kyle was amused by the Australian pronunciation, saying: ‘Kalifatidis, mate!’

‘Kalla!’ Martha said with a laugh, to which Kyle replied: ‘It’s Martha Kalifatidis, mate.’
The former makeup artist will appear in the Married At First Sight Grand Reunion special with her boyfriend, Michael Brunelli.
The couple have been dating since they met on the sixth season of Nine’s social experiment, which was filmed in late 2018 and aired in early 2019.

They will appear alongside the likes of Ryan Gallagher, Nasser Sultan, Cyrell Paule, Dean Wells, Jo McPharlin and Tracey Jewel.
The reunion was filmed in Lilyfield, Sydney, last month.
