Miranda Cosgrove reunites with Nathan Kress and Jerry Trainor on the set of their iCarly reboot for Paramount +

Just under two months after it was first announced, production seems to be ramping up on the iCarly revival with the cast reuniting.

Miranda Cosgrove, who played the title character, Carly Shay, shared a photo from ‘Set 1’ of the revival alongside co-stars Nathan Kress (Freddie Benson) and Jerry Trainor (Spencer Shay).

Cosgrove captioned her snap with a blue heart emoji, while both Kress and Trainor shared the same pic on their respective Instgram pages.

Kress captioned his pic, ‘My people’ while Trainor added simply, ‘Prepare yourselves’ on his snap.

Cosgrove was all smiles wearing a blue floral print top while posing with Trainor in a mustard colored dress shirt and Kress in a plum dress shirt.

There is no indication if filming is under way yet, or when the revival will air on Paramount +, which was rebranded earlier this month from CBS All Access.

The revival was first announced in early December, with Cosgrove, Kress and Trainor all revealed to reprise their roles.

No story details were revealed, and it wasn’t clear if other stars from the original series like Jennette McCurdy (Sam Puckett) or Noah Munck (Gibby) would return.

The original series centered on Carly, who created a web series with her friends that becomes a huge internet sensation.

Dan Schnieder (Drake & Josh, Sam & Cat, Victorious, Henry Danger) created the series, which ran for six seasons from 2007 to 2012 spanning 95 episodes.

It doesn’t appear that Schneider will be involved with the reboot though, with Jay Kogen (School of Rock) and Ali Schouten (Diary of a Future President) coming aboard to develop the series.

Nickelodeon abruptly parted ways with Schneider and his production company, Schneider’s Bakery, with Deadline claiming there were, ‘well documented temper issues’ with Schneider that may have lead to his dismissal.

iCarly originally ran from 2007 to 2012, earning Primetime Emmy nominations in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 for Outstanding Children’s Program.

Cosgrove most recently starred in the movie North Hollywood and she had a guest-starring stint on The Goldbergs.

Kress is coming off of Pinky Malinky while Trainor recently starred in No Good Nick, Apocalypse Goals and Bunk’d.
