Jared Leto nearly signed Billie Eilish and her big brother Finneas years ago

Oscar winner Jared Leto revealed Tuesday that he nearly signed teen sensation Billie Eilish and her 23-year-old brother and collaborator Finneas O’Connell years ago.

‘I met them through [film producer] Emma Ludbrook and [agent] Tom Windish, I believe. They weren’t signed, and I thought that maybe I would try and sign them,’ the evergreen 49-year-old said on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

‘They were so incredibly talented and just special people. The music is one thing, but I think they’re just incredibly intelligent, really empathetic, just really good people, and I quite like them a lot.’

Back in 2018, the 19-year-old whispery songstress joined the Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman onstage Music Midtown Festival in Atlanta for a duet.

Jared later invited the talented twosome to perform a couple songs during an intimate dinner party for 12 at his $5M military base-turned-compound in the Hollywood Hills.

‘They showed up with a Guitar Center PA [speaker] and played the most heartbreakingly beautiful music with, like, you know, it shouldn’t have sounded that good, it was impossible that it sounded that good,’ Leto recalled.

‘I remember Leo DiCaprio was there and a couple of other people and they were just, like, “How did you find these people and, like, who are they?” Everyone was just jaws on the floor, 12 people max at my place in the Hills. Yeah, just great people. I’m huge fans, too.’
