I’m a Celebrity’s Toni Pearen reveals the chilling encounter she had with a director when she was a young actor
Toni Pearen has been on Australian screens since her teenage years.
And on Thursday, the 48-year-old revealed the chilling encounter she had with a director when she was a young actor on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
In a chat with fellow campers Pettifleur Berenger, Abbie Chatfield and Alli Simpson, Toni recalled being approached by a director at midnight while filming on location.

She said: ‘The director turned up at my door and said, “I’m in love with your character. I’m not in love with you, but I’m in love with your character and I need to spend more time with her.”
Her experience left her campmates shocked, and the former pop star explained she shut the director down immediately.
‘I just went, “I don’t think you’re thinking very straight. Sorry. And I think you need to go home,'” she said.

Later, the actress told the camera: ‘Sometimes you kind of walk away from an experience going, “Yeah, that didn’t quite feel right.” But you’re so young you just don’t know.’
Elsewhere in their conversation, Toni talked about rediscovering her ‘really suggestive’ headshots from her early acting days.
She recalled one pose saw her dressed in a swimsuit and posing with a pool cue.
‘They had me in a like leopard-print leotard and I’m like crawling on the ground,’ she recalled.

The former TV presenter continued: ‘And I thought, as a parent, if that happened to my child now I would not be quiet about it.’
‘But back then, my parents were oblivious. They just thought, that’s the industry, it’s what you do,’ she added.
Toni is a doting mother to her son Lucky, 11, and daughter Ever, eight, who she shares with her husband Will Osmond.
