Celebrities took to social media on Wednesday as they reacted to the stirring speeches made by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris on Inauguration Day.

Oprah Winfrey lead the stars emotional response, as she wrote: ‘In tears watching this extraordinary moment for women in the U.S. and the world. Vice President @kamalaharris.’

Meanwhile, former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger said he was ‘rooting’ for the 46th president as the world watched the new administration get sworn in during the ceremony at the Capitol in Washington, D.C, that featured performances by Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez.  

‘I’m rooting for you @JoeBiden,’ Schwarzenegger tweeted on Wednesday morning. ‘Your success is the country’s success.’

Schwarzenegger served as the 38th Governor of the state of California for eight years and has denounced Donald Trump despite his own Republican political affiliation.
