I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Jack Vidgen is the first to be ELIMINATED from the series – as he exits by being flung into a swamp

On Sunday night’s episode of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia, three contestants took part in a challenge to determine who would leave the show.

Ash Williams, Jack Vidgen and Travis Varcoe went up against one another in the ‘Hell Hole of Destiny’ contest, in which they had to guess how many rats were stored in a mystery box.

It was Jack Vidgen who gave the most incorrect answer, and was hence eliminated from the competition.

The singer was only allowed to say a quick goodbye before being literally ejected from his seat into a swamp of water.

Jack emerged from the water looking very enthused, shouting ‘woo!’ and saying he was glad to, ‘end with a bang!’

In discussing the most important lessons he’d taken away from the show during his exit interview with hosts Dr Chris Brown and Julia Morris, Jack spoke of his bond with AFL legend Robert DiPierdomenico, aka Dipper.

‘I’ve never really had a straight, older man in my life that has made me feel really comfortable about my own sexuality and I really got that with Dipper’ Jack said.

His gentleness takes over all of his… everything else. Like, he is just a beautiful, beautiful soul,’ he added.

Earlier, Jack, Ash and Travis had competed in a mouse wheel game, where they had to estimate the distance they’d traveled.

The three men had the most incorrect result, which then qualified them for the elimination challenge.

They then entered the ‘Hell Hole of Destiny’ contest which involved the contestants feeling around inside a box they could not see inside of.

The box was full of rats, and they had to feel around inside the hole to try and count the squirming critters.

Jack cried out multiple times, insisting the rats were biting him – and subsequently guessed the answer wrong.
