Wendy Williams says ex-husband Kevin Hunter was ‘serial cheater’ and reveals they keep in contact

Wendy Williams ahead of her new Lifetime documentary said that her ex-husband Kevin Hunter was a ‘serial cheater’ and revealed they still keep in touch.

The 56-year-old talk show host spoke to Extra correspondent Billy Bush, 49, about the documentary Wendy Williams: What A Mess and its exploration of her 23-year marriage with Kevin that ended with their 2020 divorce.

‘Kevin cheated on me while I was pregnant with my son… and I found out and I could’ve divorce him then, but I said, ”No, I have a son and I’m not going to have any more children” … I didn’t want him to leave me by myself,’ Wendy said referencing their 20-year-old son Kevin Hunter Jr.

‘And I knew Billy, it was not till death do us part,’ Wendy added to her interviewer.

‘Kevin was a serial cheater, Kevin had different mistresses. …This last one was the one he had the longest term relationship with,’ she said.

Billy noted in the documentary that ‘Kevin got dragged about 80 percent of the time’ and asked Wendy if the experience was cathartic for her.

‘Well, it was cathartic to get him out of my life, to divorce him,’ Wendy replied.

Wendy during the documentary gets emotional while talking about Kevin, but she told Billy that she has a better grip on her feelings.

‘I’ve got a new life. I’ve got new boyfriends to make …and things to do. I don’t regret falling in love with Kevin …and I definitely don’t regret getting the best divorce attorney I could and fighting tooth and nail to get everything out of that divorce,’ she said.

Wendy said that she also remains in contact with Kevin.
