‘But now he’s here, he’s just taken my mind off of all the utter BS that’s going on – sorry – in the world right now. So that’s fine.’

Writing alongside the selfie video, she continued: ‘I was worried about having a baby during all of this, but he’s actually saved me if I’m honest (bit dramatic) but it’s true.’

Rosie also went on to explain the important role that Instagram has played for her following the birth of Rafe, as well as when she welcomed her first child Robin.

She admitted that she had initially planned to take a break from social media after giving birth, but quipped that she has actually been on it more than normal.

The mother-of-two said that she first joined Instagram when her first son Robin was a baby, when her husband Chris, 34, was on tour and she was by herself ‘all the time’.

She said she only had around 500 followers at the time and began documenting her post-birth life, candidly admitting that she had a ‘public breakdown’ on Instagram.

Rosie also joked that her now 700,000 followers should prepare themselves for ‘breakdown number two’, as she was doing the same thing again after giving birth.

But she was quick at add that, other than the trials of the coronavirus pandemic, she was on ‘cloud nine’ and enjoying her life as a mother to her newborn Rafe.

She explained: ‘Truth be told, when I first started doing Instagram like four years ago, it was when Robin was a baby and Chris was on tour, and I was just by myself all the time.

‘And this is how I started doing Instagram and Insta stories, I just started documenting just like stuff – I think I might have had a breakdown to be honest, a public breakdown – but I only had like 500 followers so it was fine.

‘And I’m just doing it again, so welcome to the breakdown, breakdown number two. Just there’s a lot more of you now to see it, so that’s great.’

Alongside the light-hearted clip, she quipped: ‘Welcome to breakdown number two!!

‘Although that’s a lie because I’m currently on cloud number nine (well if you take away the global pandemic that is… Eeh you couldn’t write this s**t could you?!?’

Despite missing out on her son’s first walk, Rosie admitted she felt like ‘the luckiest woman in the world’.

She said in an accompanying caption: ‘Truth is, I’m recovering from a section. I’m in absolute agony.

‘I’m very short on sleep as Rafe is a night time guzzler BUT I have honestly never felt so happy in my entire life. My heart could physically explode out of my chest.

‘Thank you to the powers that be for everything that I have. I feel like the luckiest person in the world right now. ❤️’

The author then revealed hours later, she had been ‘an emotional wreck’ since learning she was expecting their second child.

Rosie also candidly told fans she was ‘very anxious’ leading up the 12-week scan after suffering a miscarriage in 2018, but added the pregnancy was going well.

She previously said: ‘It’s absolutely killed us this is why I haven’t been on Stories much. One, because I’ve been a hormonal mess.

‘Two, I haven’t been able to drink wine and I got a few questions and I was just like I can’t be dealing with this, and three, I hate lying and it kills us so I haven’t been on Stories much because you know when you have got a secret it’s been weeks.’

Rosie added she first learned she was pregnant when she was just four or five weeks along, but she waited until the 12-week scan to announce the news publicly.
