Rumer Willis puts on a chic display during morning stroll with a female pal in Manhattan

She spent the recent Christmas holiday with her mother Demi Moore and her younger sisters at an idyllic cabin in the snow-filled mountains.

And Rumer Willis continued to revel in the chilly temperatures on Sunday morning as she stepped out with a friends in Manhattan’s Soho area.

Despite being bundled up, the actress, 32, managed to put on a chic display in a rich black duster coat.

She made sure to keep her coat buttoned as she walked and even used its deep pockets to keep her hands warm.

Wrapped around Rumer’s neck was a matching black scarf that doubled as a face mask.

Although the majority of her famous mug was concealed, Willis appeared to be wearing little to no makeup.

The House Bunny star’s curly raven hair was styled into a sleek ponytail that she tucked into the collar of her coat.

To complete her ensemble, Willis threw on a some opaque black leggings and a pair of treaded suede boots.

During her early morning walk around NYC, Rumer and her equally fashionable friend stopped by a nearby coffee shop.

They each exited the establishment with a fresh cup of coffee in hand.

The daughter of Bruce Willis carried the majority of her belongings in a stylish leather cross-body bag, while some newly purchased goods remained tucked away in a paper bag.

Her casual outing on Sunday comes shortly after the actress celebrated four years of sobriety.

On December 31, Rumer took to Instagram to not only commemorate the date, but to express how ‘grateful’ she is ‘for choosing [herself] above any need to distract or numb out’ the past four years.

‘Especially this past year when so much has come up for not just myself but the world. I feel immense gratitude that even when I have no escape from the feelings that come up no matter hard or painful they may be, I try my best to live through them and come out the other side,’ wrote the star.

‘This year has brought up so many challenges but I know that because I choose to rise to the challenge each and every time I am loving myself and showing myself that I am capable of getting through anything.’

She also wanted those who may be ‘struggling or [have] a desire to get sober’ to know ‘that it is not a one size fits all process but it’s one day at a time.’

‘I don’t have all the answers, I know what has worked for me but always here to lend support or just listen,’ Rumer concluded.

For the Christmas holiday, Willis was holed up in a cabin with her two younger sisters, Scout, 29, and Tallulah, 26, somewhere up in the mountains with their mother Demi.

Although the Willis girls did not share family pictures to social media during the getaway, Demi decided to upload two sweet snaps to her Instagram of herself with her girls.

The 58-year-old Ghost star shares Rumer, Tallulah, and Scout with ex husband Bruce Willis, whom she split from in 2000.

Though the friendly exes have been spending plenty of time together with their girls in quarantine, the 65-year-old Die Hard actor decided to opt out of the trip to the mountains.

Instead, Bruce spent the family-oriented holiday with his wife Emma Heming, 42, and their two darling daughters, Mabel Ray, eight, and Evelyn Penn, six, at their Los Angeles abode.
