Tarek El Moussa says coparenting with ex-wife Christina Anstead is going ‘better’ than ever

Almost five year after they ended their marriage, Tarek El Moussa says he and ex-wife Christina Anstead are getting along great.

The HGTV star said the duo ‘get along fine’ and support each other while raising their two children; Taylor, 10 and Brayden, five, together.

Talking to UsWeekly about their successful coparenting, Tarek, 39, said: ‘We’re coparenting, we’re filming [Flip or Flop], we’re business partners, so things are going better than they’ve been in a long time,’

Tarek and Christina, 37, have continued to co-host their show Flip or Flop since their 2015 split.

‘That’s great for us. You feel it on the set. The onscreen chemistry shows and I think this season’s episodes are some of the best we’ve ever done. Who would have thought 10 years later the show is getting better?’

Tarek is now engaged to Heather Rae Young, star of Selling Sunset, and explained that Christina and his new fiancee get along great when it comes to communicating about the kids.

‘They coparent too. It’s strictly business, but yeah. Everybody gets along. … If I need the kids or she needs the kids, we’re flexible.’ the Tarek’s Flip Side star said.

In April 2020 after the pandemic hit, Christina opened up about how she was dealing with coparenting with Tarek after the schools closed.

She told UsWeekly: ‘We’re just making sure that we’re on the same page,

‘I went over there and showed them how we were doing homeschool because I had them the first few days. We just, like, make sure we’re helpful with each other.’

‘We all just are in it for the kids and whatever’s best for them, so that’s just how we make it work.’ she added.

Christina also shares 16-month-old son Hudson with estranged husband Ant Anstead who she separated from in September and subsequently filed for divorce in November.
