Kathryn Brolin shares throwback of baby bump ‘night before’ giving birth… and snap of newborn daughter Chapel Grace the ‘night after’
Kathryn Brolin swung by her Insta Stories to share a throwback snap of her baby bump the ‘Night before’ she gave birth to her youngest.
The 33-year-old wife of Josh Brolin lifted up her shirt to reveal her burgeoning belly as she lounged in bed on Christmas Eve.
She gave birth to her baby daughter Chapel Grace on Christmas Day and in her new Insta Stories included a snap of the baby the ‘Night after.’

In the ‘night after’ snap Chapel could be seen lying peacefully on her parents’ bed which was decorated with blue Christmas lights.
While announcing the birth on Instagram Josh had revealed: ‘Everywhere we have traveled the one place Kathryn and I always found a great solace in were chapels.’
He added: ‘Not being particularly religious, but a God feeling heavily inundating our lives, chapels have always been the sanctuaries where we felt most connectedly free to give thanks. Chapel Grace is, to us, a manifestation of that celestial feeling that was always felt as we meandered and knelt.’
During her new Insta Stories his wife, who is nearly two decades his junior and used to be his personal assistant, added a bit more detail to the story.

She posted a couple of pictures of the specific chapel in the Italian countryside that influenced their decision to name their new baby as such.
‘Baby girl’s name inspiration,’ she wrote, including a snap of herself in front of the building in 2014. ‘In the woods in a tiny Italian town, there was a chapel….’
The tiny stone edifice was surrounded by snow in Kathryn’s photos, which also included a large crucifix set up beside the entrance.

Josh and Kathryn got married in Cashiers, North Carolina in 2016 and are also the proud parents of a two-year-old daughter called Westlyn.
Kathryn announced Chapel’s birth on Instagram two days after it happened, posting a heart-melting snap of the baby resting at home.
‘Baby Chapel,’ she wrote surrounded by heart emoji. ‘Born at 6:20 pm on 12/25/20 Our little Christmas evening angel…Chapel Grace Brolin.’
Meanwhile Josh shares two children, Eden, 27, and Trevor, 32, with his first wife Alice Adair and has also been married to Diane Lane.
