A beloved Summer Bay resident fights for his life in dramatic new trailer 

Sam Frost has played Jasmine Delaney on Home and Away for the past three years, and it looks like she’s set to be involved in a gripping new storyline this year.

An action-packed trailer for the 2021 season reveals her character is going to learn a deadly secret about Dr Christian Green, played by Ditch Davey.

Northern Districts Hospital nurse Lewis Hayes (Luke Arnold), tells his former flame Jasmine the truth about the charming neurosurgeon – as Colby Thorne (Tim Franklin) fights for his life after an incident behind bars.

‘He is a danger to his patients, but I’ll be watching him like a hawk,’ Lewis says.

Meanwhile, Dr Christian appears to be taking his relationship with Dr Tori Morgan (Penny McNamee) to the next level.

‘You, me, Grace as a family,’ Christian tells Tori, who responds: ‘What are you saying?’

The trailer also shows Colby lying in a hospital bed fighting for life, after his secret of being an ex-police officer was exposed in prison.

An emotional Bella Nixon (Courtney Miller) sits at his bedside and tells him: ‘I love you, Colby.’

Elsewhere, the marriage of Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher) and Martha Stewart (Belinda Giblin) is on the rocks after he shares his suspicions about her son Kieran.

‘He’s my son, Alf. He’s a good kid. He has just made a lot of bad choices,’ Martha says.

Summer Bay is also going to welcome real estate agent Susie McAllister, who is played by Bridie Carter.

The newcomer arrives looking to make a fresh start, but soon catches the eye of newly single John Palmer (Shane Withington).

Home and Away returns on February 1 on Channel Seven
