‘I love the beach but… not for baking oil into my skin and tanning,’ Naomi said.

She added: ‘I like it for the feel of sand and crunching between your toes. I like the wind and the wispy hair.’

‘I always thought that if it didn’t hurt, it probably wouldn’t work!’ Naomi said.

‘Once I started trying things, I saw not only real efficacy, but a solid shift in my overly sensitive skin. Knowing that there are no harmful ingredients makes so much sense.’

The mother of two, who is known for roles in King Kong and Mulholland Drive, revealed she loves Barbara Sturm’s skincare and swears by the Rich Face Cream ($284), as well as Saint Jane’s Vitamin C drops ($128).

She also endorses the Active Botanical Serum from Vintner’s Daughter ($270), and Goop Beauty’s Goopglow Microderm Instant Glow Exfoliator ($178).

What’s more, Naomi is a fan of Beautycounter’s $64 tinted moisturiser.

Embracing it all: In October, she said that while she sometimes does wake up and wish she didn't have 'lines around my mouth or chin', she has realised that with a few wrinkles comes a much 'sturdier mind' - and a woman who knows what suits her skin and her face

‘I just think you have to embrace the aging process. There are going to be good days, and there are going to be bad days,’ Naomi told Who What Wear.

The best piece of advice the actress said she has ever been given is that it’s vital to drink at least two litres of water each day and she should make sure she gets eight hours of sleep a night.

‘I can tell right away if I’ve had a good night’s sleep and if I drank the right amount of water the day before,’ Naomi told the publication.

‘If I don’t do well on both of those things, it absolutely manifests in my skin.’

Naomi said she is religious about getting facials every few months, taking her makeup off and wearing sunscreen every day.
