Reality star reacts to being voted the WORST celebrity of 2020

This notorious Australian reality star reacts to being named the WORST celebrity of 2020… but can you guess who it is?

The year 2020 has seen plenty of drama within the reality TV circuit, including break-ups, scandals and former stars being dragged out of obscurity.

And on Tuesday, one particularly outspoken personality had an unexpected reaction to being named the worst celebrity of the year by a Sydney newspaper.

Married At First Sight’s Nasser Sultan, who bizarrely describes himself as ‘Australia’s favourite celebrity, topped the list after appearing on the show in 2018.

Winner: Married At First Sight star Nasser Sultan, 52 – who bizarrely brands himself as ‘Australia’s favourite celebrity’ – made the list after hitting headlines on numerous occasions throughout the year, after first appearing on the show in 2018

Reacting to the ‘accolade’ on Instagram, the controversial star wrote: ‘If 2020 has taught me anything it is to celebrate all wins,.

He added: ‘Number one. We made it! In great company!’

Nasser then tagged several others who made the list of worst reality stars, including Frazer Neate, Timm Hanly and Ciarran Stott from The Bachelorette, and SAS Australia recruit Roxy Jacenko.

Hilarious: Reacting to the list on Instagram, Nasser wrote: 'If 2020 has taught me anything it is to celebrate all wins,' he wrote alongside a crying with laughter face. 'Number one. We made it! In great company!'

The newspaper described Nasser as a ‘headline-grabbing, fame-chasing contestant’ who will ‘stop at nothing to get himself into the spotlight.’

Following his appearance on MAFS two years ago, Nasser has been involved in several public feuds as he desperately tries to extend his 15 minutes of fame.

He is also set to appear in the upcoming cast reunion, which airs in January.

During filming in Sydney earlier this month, he stormed out and quit the show after an explosive clash with co-star Cyrell Paule.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia after his exit, Nasser revealed he’d argued with Cyrell and then the entire dinner party turned on him.

He said Cyrell had demanded he apologise for ‘trolling her baby’ when she was pregnant. She was referring to her son, Boston, now 10 months, whom she shares with her partner, former Love Island star Eden Dally.

‘She wanted me to me to apologise. She said I’m a troll, that I trolled her when she was pregnant, which there’s no way I did,’ Nasser said after the clash.

Not happy: Nasser is taking part in the MAFS reunion show set to air in January, and already caused quite the stir as he stormed out and quit the show during an explosive clash with Cyrell Paule (pictured with her son Boston)
