But they were back to their normal routine by Monday, seen picking up essentials at an LA Whole Foods together.
Hilary, who is expecting her third child, kept comfortable during the outing, draping her bump in a heather grey tunic worn with simple, black leggings.

Adding some edge to the look, Duff, 33, donned patent leather Doc Marten boots and let her blonde locks breath by letting her roots grow out, à la 80s Madonna.
As the Lizzie McGuire star and her musician husband left the store, Duff kept a baguette under her arm.
Matthew was a gentleman, pushing along the cart with just a few bags in it.
The songwriter/producer was bundled up for the LA chill, donning a sweatshirt repping the band Dawes’ new album Good Luck With Whatever. (Dawes lead singer Taylor Goldsmith is wed to Hilary’s fellow celeb Mandy Moore.)

Last week Hilary and her other-half celebrated Christmas with their baby girl Banks, two, and Duff’s older child Luca, eight, who she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie.
They truly made it a family affair, with all four donning matching PJs for the holiday celebration.
The family seemed to make the most of the day with some good clean outdoor fun as they played at the playground before returning home and enjoying Koma’s musical talents as he serenaded his wife and daughter on the guitar.

Duff and Koma recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary together as she gushed, ‘Snacking through life, dreaming about dinner at 7 am and wrangling kids.

Two-year-old Banks received her first guitar to croon alongside her dad as Hilary shared on social media that their temporary NYC home was decked out for the holidays.
The family seemed to spend time enjoying NYC’s most recent snowfall that made for a white Christmas.
Koma took Banks for a ride down the slide as Hilary shared that Koma seemed happy ‘to not be at work.’
Banks treated the ice like her very own popsicle as she licked a large block from the playground which seemed a bit precarious in the COVID-19 era.

Loving the east coast weather before returning home to Los Angeles for the first time in months, she said it was a ‘gorgeous cold sunny NYC day.’
On Sunday Duff shared that the family had equipped their LA home with roosters as Luca – who she shares with ex-husband of six years Mike Comrie – and Banks imitated the rooster while Duff shared that her chicken coop had produced their first eggs.
Having a COVID-19 scare ahead of Thanksgiving, Duff was forced to quarantine before receiving a negative test result, as she seemed keen to be able to be with her family stress-free on Christmas.
