Michael Flatley launches ‘Tap for Ten’ charity dance challenge to help the homeless

Michael Flatley is urging everyone to put their best foot forward by recording a ten second dance video, in a bid to help the homeless this Christmas.

The Lord of the Dance star, 62, has launched ‘Tap for Ten’, a new charity dance challenge, which aims to raise badly needed funds for Centrepoint and Depaul, who work to help the homeless and vulnerable.

The Tap for Ten campaign – which is focused on social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and Instagram – revolves around a person posting a ten second clip of themselves dancing.

The challenge can involve fancy footwork to your favourite music or simply your preferred dance floor routine and sharing the clip online with the hashtag #FlatleysTapforTen.

You can then nominate your friends, family, and followers to post follow in your footsteps and share a clip of their dance skills.

A special GoFundMe page www.gofundme.com/f/flatleystapforten has been set up to facilitate the campaign, and supporters can update their video clips with details of just how much they have raised or appeal for further donations.
