The media personality recently said she’s beginning to heal emotionally after a number of months that she describes as: ‘brutal and exhausting.’

Two months after going through the traumatic event, Teigen made a post to her Instagram account expressing her determination to recover from her experience.

The caption for the post read: ‘When I’m old and grey, I will look back on the last two months as being brutal, exhausting, sad, physically challenging, mentally painful b****** of a couple months. But I refuse to not find humor in both the rage-fits and the outfits.’

She added: ‘I already see the leaves as orange instead of grey, realized the sky is indeed blue and not black and horn honks on my forced morning walks only bring me to my knees half the time.’

The couple’s third child together reportedly would have been named Jack.

In an interview with Huffington Post, the couple opened up about their methods of coping with the grief that they experienced after the stillbirth and Teigen shared a mantra that the two say to each other every week.

‘Life is messy and you never know what’s going to happen, you never know what to prepare for, so there’s no point trying to prepare for anything. Life is going to come at you whether you’re ready for it or not,’ she stated.

The model also felt that sharing her experience publicly has made her grateful to receive the outpouring of support that has come in the months since the event occurred.

She noted that: ‘I’ve gone through something so horrific and hurtful and painful, but I’m lucky enough to have my family with me and the support of so many hundreds of thousands of people around the world.’
