Strictly’s Craig Revel Horwood claims James Jordan will NEVER be welcome back as a judge on the show as he’s ‘too bitter’ and ‘twisted’

Craig Revel Horwood has claimed James Jordan will never be welcome back on the show as a judge.

The Strictly Come Dancing judge, 55, spoke candidly to OK! Magazine on Monday about the former professional dancer, 42, and said James ‘clearly wants [his] job’ but would be ‘too bitter’ and ‘twisted’ for the part.

Reflecting on how James said this year’s edition of the show wasn’t up to the usual standard, Craig hit out: ‘Oh, he would say that. Honestly, we won’t make amends until he stops slagging me off!

‘His comments and scores on Twitter always tally up with mine. He thinks the same as I do and it makes me laugh because he clearly wants my job!’

Craig was also asked about whether he thought James could be a judge on the show, but he said it wouldn’t happen ‘in a million years.’

Not mincing his words, Craig blasted: ‘Not in a million years. He’s too bitter, he’s too twisted! We’d have a laugh on the panel – I’d put him in his place!’

Not up to it: James has been vocal of 2020's series, saying it's not up to par, and blasted: 'He thinks the same as I do and it makes me laugh because he clearly wants my job!'

In October last year, James hit out at Craig in a scathing rant as he insisted that the judge was no longer needed and ‘no-one will miss him’ if he left.

‘The show doesn’t need Craig. He should go. If Craig was gone they wouldn’t notice any difference at all,’ James told the Daily Star.

The dancer, who often clashed with ‘Mr Nasty’ Craig while he was starring on the show, added: ‘The viewers wouldn’t miss him either. No-one would miss him.’

Reflecting on the departures of Len Goodman and Darcey Bussell, James suggested that if the show can go on without them, then it can certainly cope without Craig.

He added: ‘Len was a much bigger personality than Craig and the show is still huge without him. So it would still be a big success.’

Fighting back at his remarks at the time, TV personality Craig claimed the CBB star was ‘just out for publicity’.

James was a dancer on the show from 2006 until 2013 and during that time he and Craig became embroiled in several on-air disputes.
