And the former child star Nikki Webster, 33, has continued to fuel the speculation.
On Tuesday, Nikki appeared on the Today show, where she tip-toed around whether she’s signed on for the fairytale, matchmaking dating series.

Earlier this month, Nikki, who stole hearts around the world when she performed at the 2000 Sydney Olympics at the tender age of 13, revealed she was ready to find love again and wasn’t opposed to doing it on reality TV.
Today’s stand-in hosts asked Nikki via video link: ‘Are you going to be Australia’s next Bachelorette?’
Nikki immediately threw her head back and let out a roar of laughter, before saying with her arms up in the air: ‘Hey, no one has rung me… yet.’
She also refused to deny whether she’d say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ if approached, but was definitely willing to start discussions.

Despite filming still being months away, Nikki and several others have been suggested by fans and industry insiders as potential new Bachelorettes.

When asked if she would be interested in appearing on the show, Bella told Daily Mail Australia: ‘Yeah, I mean, what a way to get your happily ever after!’

Speaking to Woman’s Day earlier this month, Nikki said: ‘Australia’s next Bachelorette, could you imagine?!’
‘You know what? I could totally do that! One hundred per cent I’m there – how else do you meet men these days?
‘I’m not one of those people who says “I’m not doing [reality TV] again”, I love supporting the entertainment industry,’ she added.

Nikki previously appeared on the 2019 Masked Singer Australia as the Alien.
This month, she sent fans into a whirlwind as she dropped her first studio album in 16 years.
