Motsi Mabuse has hit back at trolls who have targeted Shirley Ballas for sending home Ranvir Singh over the weekend, rather than Jamie Laing.
The Strictly Come Dancing judge, 39, has shot to the defence of the Latin and ballroom show’s head panellist after some hit out at her.
Motsi wrote on Instagram: ‘Attacking her is attacking me!!! Everyone that is part of my community knows that we support, we love and we spread love!!!

Some Strictly viewers were left fuming after it came down to Shirley, 60, to decide who should go last weekend out of Ranvir, 43, or Jamie, 32, with a number of fans disappointed she chose the Good Morning Britain co-host to be eliminated.
Made In Chelsea star Jamie has ended up in the dance-off four times and some even called for Shirley to be sacked as a result of the decision.
She said to the trolls who were attacking Shirley’s decision: ‘SUPPORT OTHER WOMEN. PERIOD.!! @shirleyballas ! #strictlykindness (sic)’
Motsi chose to save Ranvir and Giovanni, saying: ‘Well this was really one tough decision, we had two beautiful dances, two beautiful human beings and I will save Ranvir and Giovanni.’
Ranvir’s departure from the show means that the line-up for the highly anticipated final includes HRVY, Maisie Smith, Bill Bailey and of course, Jamie.
One fumed on Twitter: ‘Total CR**!!!!!! Shirley needs to be replaced!!!!! She gave Ranvir a 9 and Jamie an 8, then goes on to pick Jamie- who’s been in the DO four times !!!! Unfair !!!! U should be ashamed of urself !!!!!!!! (sic).’

Another posted: ‘Of course Ranvir and Giovanni should be finalists, absolute travesty Shirley and Craig, you’ve done this before Shirley, what were you thinking? We should replace her with Anton (sic).’
Another wrote: ‘WRONG DECISION Shirley !!!!! Shame on you !!!!! You praised Ranvir for her best frame and then kicked her out !!!!!!!!! (sic).’

But some people were delighted that Jamie will remain on the show, writing: ‘

Motsi’s words come after she quit Twitter earlier this month.
She wrote: ‘I’ve decided to leave Twitter!! It’s been fun but I truly think with Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.. it’s enough social media.
