Cricket legend David Warner ‘fanboys’ over meeting Mark Wahlberg in cringeworthy post… as he and wife Candice are trained by the Hollywood actor at an F45 session in Sydney

His successful cricketing career has made him a celebrity in his own right.

But it appears even David Warner gets starstruck when it comes to meeting certain Hollywood heavyweights, as he proved on Tuesday when he came face-to-face with Boogie Nights star Mark Wahlberg in Woolloomooloo, Sydney.

David, 34, and his wife Candice joined Mark as he trained a group of celebrities at an F45 session – where he shared a string of photos with the movie star, and proudly branded himself as a ‘fanboy’ in the caption.

Starstruck: On Tuesday, David Warner shared a ‘fanboy’ post about Hollywood legend Mark Wahlberg as the pair met in Sydney [both pictured] 

‘Awesome opportunity meeting this guy this morning!! Entourage Australia could definitely work!’ David enthusiastically wrote, followed by two crying with laughter emojis. 

‘I watched as the wife trained as usual,’ he said, in reference to his Ironwoman wife, 35. 

He then added the hashtags ‘#fanboy #entourage #actor #whatmovies.’

The celebrities completed an intense workout led by the 47-year-old actor, who invested in the Australian fitness franchise last year.

Other celebrities who attended the training session included model twins Jordan and Zac Stenmark, athlete Amy Pejkovic, and glamour couple Elle Ferguson and Joel Patfull.

Mark bought a minority stake in the gym chain with his company, the Mark Wahlberg Investment Group, and FOD Capital.

F45 refers to the 45-minute high-intensity functional workouts the gym is famous for.

The company has 1,500 studios across 40 countries and is the fastest growing fitness franchise in the world.

Mark is reportedly in Australia to film an advert for online betting agency Ladbrokes.

He has only been in Sydney for two days, after completing two weeks in mandatory quarantine at a luxury retreat outside of Byron Bay.

He is expected to return home to the the USA to spend the festive season with his wife Rhea Durham and their four children; daughters Ella-Rae, 15, and Grace, nine, and sons Michael, 12, and Brendan, 10.
