Zooey Deschanel and Will Ferrell croon Baby, It’s Cold Outside during virtual Elf reunion for Georgia US Senate race

It’s been 17-years since the holiday favorite Elf came out.

And stars Will Ferrell and Zooey Deschanel still charmed people while recreating one of the film’s most beloved parts during their virtual reunion to raise money for the Democratic candidates in the Georgia Senate runoff.

The duo reenacted own of the film’s most adorable scenes, teaming Zooey, 40, and Will, 53, up for a rendition of the Christmas classic Baby, It’s Cold Outside.

Zooey was full of gratitude while sharing a clip from the read-through, writing: ‘Thank you to everyone who joined the #ElfforGeorgia livestream!

‘So excited we were able to reach our goal of over $400k! Loved reuniting with the cast and all our very special guests.’

The #ElfForGeorgia reading was livestreamed to those who donated to help flip the Senate Democratic in 2021.

Jason Esteves, Treasurer of the Democratic Party of Georgia, said ‘This holiday season, Georgia Democrats know that the best way to spread holiday cheer will be voting loud for all to hear.’

‘The joy, laughter, and good tidings from this incredible film will mobilize new volunteers and raise funds to send Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock to the US Senate.’

Participants are encouraged to donate a minimum of $30 to support the two Democratic candidates in the Senate runoff on January 5.
