The Princess Diaries star Erik von Detten and wife Angela announce they’re expecting their second child together… 19 months after the birth of daughter
Nearly 19 months after welcoming a daughter to the world, former actor Erik von Detten and his wife Angela are expecting their second child.
Angela announced the news on her Instagram page on Friday, December 11.
‘Santa baby …,’ she wrote in the caption of a photo, which had an image of an ultrasound photo placed on holiday decorations, along with three snowflake emojis.

The Los Angeles realtor also revealed that she’s due in March, and insinuated the pregnancy wasn’t planned considering she used the hashtags #surprise and #babycomingsoon.’
The Princess Diaries star first met his wife back in 2017, and the pair ended up tying-the-knot in August 2018.
During an interview with Romper, he described her as beautiful and driven.

Daughter Claire made her arrival in May 2019.
‘Welcome to earth sweetie. Giving birth was the most magical experience of my life so far,’ Angela captioned a series snapshots of their bundle of joy after her birth on May 17, 2019.
‘I didn’t think it was possible to love so deep … seriously I love you more than life itself my baby Claire Bear. Daddy and I are so blessed you chose us. Thank you for being our sweetest treasure and adventure that’s to come.’
Erik shared the news on Instagram with similar snaps of their little girl, while simply writing: ‘Meet Claire Elizabeth Von Detten.’

Along with The Princess Diaries, the California native, 38, is best known for roles in Days Of Out Lives, Escape To Witch Mountain, Toy Story, Brink!, Meego, Complete Savages and So Weird.
He has stepped away from acting over the past decade, with his last credit being his reprisal of Sid Phillips in 2010’s Toy Story 3.
As of 2018, von Detten has worked for a precious metals asset management firm and as a sales manager at a commodities brokerage firm.
