Stacey Solomon teaches her sons and nieces about their Jewish heritage as she marks Hanukkah in their childcare bubble
Stacey Solomon posted a series of sweet videos to Instagram on Thursday as she taught her sons and nieces about Hanukkah.
The presenter, 30, explained that her nieces are part of her childcare bubble as she watches them for her sister and brother-in-law when they go to work, while their hometown of Essex remains in Tier 2.
Stacey shared videos from the evening, which saw a visit from Santa Claus.

Her sons – Zachary, 12, Leighton, eight, and Rex, one – were seen greeting him at the door, along with Stacey’s nieces.
Santa was sure to stay outside and keep a social distance.
Inside, the children were seen lighting the Hanukkah candles, tucking into sweet treats and playing the traditional game of spin the dreidel.
The Solomons celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah as Stacey’s father David is Jewish, while Stacey’s mother Fiona is Christian.

Stacey explained on Instagram: ‘My mum’s family are Christian (my granddad was a vicar) and my dad’s family are Jewish, so we were raised learning about both’

It appears she is teaching her own children to respect both holidays – with the appearance of Santa not usually a part of Hanukkah.
Explaining the childcare situation, Stacey told her fans: ‘My nieces are here too because my sister and brother-in-law are working so it was even more special.’
