Jessika Power reveals she and Martha Kalifatidis are ‘on the road’ to mending their friendship

Married At First Sight star Jessika Power has revealed she is keen to leave her feud with Martha Kalifatidis behind in 2020.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Wednesday, Jessika, 29, admitted while there is a ‘long way’ to go, the former friends are on the ‘road’ to mending their friendship. 

‘Look there is a long way for me and Martha to go, there were are a lot of words that were thrown around between us, but we are on that road again of mending our relationship,’ she said.

‘We have history, and it would be a shame to throw away such a good friendship.’ 

It’s understood the former friends are now on talking terms after an on set incident brought them closer together. 

A Married At First Sight insider tells Daily Mail Australia, Jessika was ‘anxious’ about reuniting with Martha, 29, for the two-part special. 

But now, the two are on the road to a friendship after falling out in 2019.

Their strong friendship came to an end after Jessika accused her of cheating on her partner Michael Brunelli.

‘Jessika was very anxious about reuniting with Martha before the reunion,’ the source claimed.

‘They haven’t seen each other for months and haven’t spoken. They’ve both just pretended like they other doesn’t exist.’ 

‘But after the second night, Martha and Jess formed an unlikely connection after Jessika confronted Cyrell for her behaviour. It was too much for any one in that room,’ the source claimed.  

Jessika claimed there ‘was a lot of cheating going on’ around Christmas 2018, after the MAFS cast had finished filming the sixth season.

Her allegations however remain unproven. 

She has not provided specific details, and doesn’t have access to the text messages that allegedly corroborate her claims.

‘There is text messages that I’ve read. But Ines won’t give them to me,’ she said. 

When contacted by Daily Mail Australia at the time, Martha denied the cheating allegations but refused to comment further.
