And Mario Lopez flexed his acting chops to portray Col. Sanders in a sizzling KFC mini-movie for the Lifetime network, A Recipe For Seduction.

The 47-year-old actor finds himself caught in a suspenseful romance with the daughter of an affluent family, much to the dismay of her mother.

‘I think I’m falling for the new cook,’ Jessica said over the phone as Lopez flashes across the screen with Sanders’ signature salt-and-pepper goatee and mustache.

Mario portrays a modern day KFC king with bulging biceps and a chiseled torso, a totally different view than the usual older southern character. 

‘He has a secret recipe that’s going to change the world,’ Jessica tried to assure her mother. ‘We all have our secrets.’

This isn’t his first foray into the world of Lifetime movies as he recently starred in the Christmas movie Feliz NaviDAD. 

Mario joins a sturdy roster of celebrities who have filled the role as the famed chicken connoisseur, including George Hamilton, Rob Lowe, Norm Macdonald, Darrell Hammond and Jason Alexander.

The full, 15-minute A Recipe For Seduction clip airs at noon on Dec. 13 on the Lifetime network.
