She was lowered onto a platform at the center of Santa’s workshop, covered in red velvet walls and gold clock gears, as elves danced around with wrapped gifts.
Carey put on a busty display in a green bustier mini dress with a plunging neckline and a waist-high leg slit and a sparkling red tartan print.
Grande, 27, served a cute and festive look in a long-sleeve off-the-shoulder green velvet minidress, with her signature high ponytail tied in a black ribbon.

Carey recently told Billboard of the collab: ‘Visually, in the special, it really does feel like a girl group moment. I think we all had a good time with it. That was the fun part about it.’

She said of featuring her kids: ‘They sing a little bit at the end of All I Want. I actually recorded a song with them when they were 6 that we didn’t release. They were like, “Why didn’t we release that?”
‘It was so cute, because it was when Rocky had an accent — well not an accent, but couldn’t really pronounce certain letters yet — and they’re both singing on it. So one of these days, I need to be encouraged to release that, but there’s just other stuff going on.
‘But yeah, I wanted to do more with them in terms of performance, but they’re definitely up onstage, they’re acting in it. So I love that. I loved incorporating them into this festive world that we created.’
It comes after her 1994 seasonal hit All I Want for Christmas Is You returned to the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 29 last month, following her 19th No. 1 with the song last year.
