Clare Crawley talks about battling her ‘insecurities’ and ‘anxiety’ in the public eye after Bachelorette backlash: ‘I’m going through things’

Clare Crawley asked her followers not to ‘pass judgements’ on her life in a vulnerable post, as she continues to navigate life after rapidly falling in love with Dale Moss on this season of The Bachelorette.

Despite exiting ABC’s long-running dating show happily engaged with her 32-year-old fiancé, the reality star, 39, continues to face criticism from fans of the show.

Amid ongoing facing scrutiny for her laser-like focus on Moss and none of her other suitors, the newly-engaged hairdresser candidly spoke of her battle with anxiety.

‘Hi. It’s me, Clare. Not Clare that you have seen edited on your television or social media squares. But the human one with feelings, insecurities, emotions, and a normal life just like you,’ she captioned a shot of her sitting cross-legged on a table.

The Sacramento-born beauty continued: ‘And just like you, I’m going through things, big and small, that all of us experience at some point or another.’

Despite typically oozing self-confidence on her carefully curated Instagram posts and on TV, she said she can feel ‘shy and awkward’ when ‘fighting off’ her ‘anxiety.’

‘There are good days and bad days. Being on reality TV doesn’t exempt me (or any of us) from that,’ she continued, while gaining more than 133,00 likes.

Then, she explained how she does her ‘best to rise above the negativity and find the positive, but’ is ‘not superhuman.’

Crawley concluded: ‘So when you choose to pass judgements without knowing someone personally or even something as small as a snide comment, please remember just like you, I am simply trying my best.’
