Alison Brie accidentally shared a NSFW photo with Ellen DeGeneres the first time they met

Her first television role was in front of a live studio audience for the show Hannah Montana. 

And now a star in her own right following the success of GLOW, Alison Brie recalled an embarrassing moment involving Ellen DeGeneres.

The 37-year-old actress accidentally flashed a not-safe-for-work photo to the talk show host, which also was the first time they had ever met. 

While catching up on Ellen’s self-titled show, the ladies reminisced on the past and their unlikely meeting through a shared personal trainer. 

‘I’m so glad that you remember that we met before even though I feel like it was a little embarrassing for me because the nature of our meeting,’ Brie said.

‘I was rushing into the gym and I had been receiving some sort of prank texts that morning. And, you know, I’ve known our trainer Jason for a while, so I share things with him all the time.’

Alison recalled running into her fitness session and declaring: “Everybody, you gotta see what I’ve been receiving on my phone!” 

‘And as I go to show him, there you are, just passing by, you’re sort of just lunging by,’ she said. ‘And you were like, “What’s going on?” And I whipped around — I think before I realized it was you — I was like, “Look at this!” And, you know, it was a photo of a man’s nether-regions.’  

‘Right,’ Ellen said without emotion.

‘Nobody I knew, a stranger,’ Brie added. ‘I had been getting those texts all morning and I really, really kind of put it in your face and I apologize.’

Ellen didn’t seem phased by the incident, but remembered Alison’s dedication to getting into fighting shape for her role as a female wrestler in the ’80s.   

‘I remember more than that was how strong you were, because you were training for GLOW. You were so impressive, it was intimidating,’ Ellen said. ‘I couldn’t believe how strong you were.’
