‘I should have stayed in touch better’: Vicky Pattison reveals she regrets neglecting her friendship with Geordie Shore co-star Charlotte Crosby

Vicky Pattison revealed on Wednesday that she regrets losing her friendship with her former Geordie Shore co-star Charlotte Crosby, while admitting to distancing herself from the show.   

As their fame grew, so did the distance between them as her former pal, 30, previously revealed they haven’t spoken for six years after Vicky, 33, left the show in 2014.

The 33-year old confirmed she could have done more to maintain relationships with her Newcastle pals, but the decision not to has benefited her career.

She told The Sun: ‘It couldn’t be fairer, I have moved away from all of that and we don’t keep in touch like we should.

‘Often when you leave jobs you don’t always manage to keep in touch with everybody. Your life goes in different directions…

‘But fair play, I hope the cast are all doing really good, and maybe I should have stayed in touch better, but I’ve gone in a different direction. I do wish them all the best.’

Charlotte and Vicky got their first taste of fame when they joined the original cast of the UK version of MTV’s Jersey Shore in 2011.

Their camaraderie, wild partying antics and personal heartbreak were documented on the Newcastle based reality show. 

Vicky decided to end her time on Geordie Shore after her engagement to Ricci Guarnaccio was called off during the fifth series. 

Now the reality star is focusing on her other endavours including her podcast, The Secret To, and multiple TV appearances including a stint on the 2018 series of I’m A Celebrity. 

She is currently in a relationship with her partner, Ercan Ramadan, after meeting through mutal friends.

Meanwhile Charlotte has established a succesful career, having launched a range of clothing for InTheStyle and she also starred in her own reality series, The Charlotte Show.

She is now in a relationship with videographer, Liam Beaumont, and the pair have been spending their lockdown together. 

While Vicky admitted she doesn’t keep in contact with the star, she said she will always ‘fly the flag’ and be a ‘cheerleader’ for anybody under the reality TV spotlight.
