Special day: Kristin Cavallari celebrated her daughter Saylor’s 5th birthday with black and white shots on Instagram Monday

‘Watching you blossom into the sweet, caring, kind, tough, strong willed little girl you are has been such a gift. I’m thankful for you every single day.’

In the first snap the Laguna Beach alum smooched her little girl. The next shot was a throwback to 2015 which showed mom holding her little girl in the backyard.

Kristin’s baby looked like she was growing up fast in another shot, which saw the little lady looking out the window of a high-rise building while wearing a princess-perfect dress with tons of tulle and carrying a small plush toy.

The final photo showed the reality star-turned-fashion designer carrying her little girl on her hip while walking away, back turned from the camera.

It’s been an interesting year for Cavallari, who split from husband of 10-years Jay Cutler, 37, in April.

She reflected on 2020 while on the red carpet of the 2020 American Music Awards on Sunday night, telling Us Weekly: ‘I think that’s the one thing with COVID, is that we’ve all kind of learned what we’re appreciative of.’

‘I have to say my kids, of course, my family. I think I just realized what’s important in life and it’s put everything into perspective.’

The Laguna Beach alum noted that being a mom is her No. 1 priority no matter what is happening in her personal life.

‘I think at the end of the day, my kids are really the only thing that matters, and good friends too,’ the Uncommon James founder said. ‘Just all of your people in your life are what really matter.’

Because of that, the former couple have no hesitations about spending the holidays together.

‘I know that the kids are our No. 1 priority. So, spending the first Thanksgiving together [after our split] is important because it’s what’s best for the kids and we’re able to do that,’ she said. ‘We’re in a solid enough place that we’re able to do that, and I’m really thankful for that.’
